As a seed buried deep in the ground
I yearned to see the light
As a sapling, when I saw the light
I dreamt to dance with the breeze
As a plant, when I swayed to the winds
I wished to touch the skies
As a tree, when the clouds seemed closer
I aspired to bear flowers and fruits
When I was in full bloom, colored in glory
I desired to give to society
And when they enjoyed the fruits of my growth
I reveled in their smiles and joy
